I know newer vehicles have a little button underneath a cover by the shifter that releases the transmission. Im not sure about something that old though.

Your best bet: Fab up a mirror for both sides. Cant be that hard. and glue on your rearview.

Illinois has had 7 digit plates as long as ive been alive. Totalled, could you post a pic of your front bumper somewhere? It looks good but your picture is small and hard to see. I wanna get a better look.
