    Posted these on the Ranger forum too. Original Carb and Distributer (2.8) Swapped when I did the Duraspark conversion. Worked fine before I pulled them. Also have a set of valve covers, say Bronco powered by Ford (V8) Hope someone needs them or they go to recycle. Pics by request. 50 bucks...

    Are you sure that's off a 2.8 because I don't ever remember seeing that on mine. Post up a pic of the carb where it was. Give the year of the truck too. I have a complete carb sitting on my bench for reference.

    Not hard at all. If they're original, PB Blaster on the nuts and bolts, let soak and go for it.

    Bronco II rear seat interchangeable years....

    No BII had integrated shoulder restraints because of the side windows. You'd have to find something else that might fit to make it work. Keep all hardware as it's getting harder and harder to find too.

    Rear hatch Options

    They're basically the same body style for all years, except the fenders and doors. Some had rear windows that opened, like 87 up I think. Some had handles that locked too. If you want to swap one out, just make sure hinges and strikers line up correctly.

    If it's similar to mine, it's a combination of both. I think it's 3/8 fuel line. Nice looking rig too.

    I'm sorry I can't really be of any help, because mine has the 2.8 without all the computer crap anymore. Best be is to post this in the Ranger side of swaps too, and use the search function as much as possible. Ranger and BII 2.9 are identical so really look there too. Best of luck.

    Almost everyone uses the dual Sump pan on 302 conversions and there's no problem. You have to because of the way the front axle is. You may have bad or home made Engine mounts and they're not doing the job. Checkout James Duff and see what they're using.

    Well depending on location might be oil pressure sending unit. If you have a smart phone just use tapatalk to sign in to forum, take photo, load up, Easy as pie.

    I saw some thread with one awhile ago on TRS. I don't remember the particulars but he had lots of problems. The motor doesn't fit well without tons of mods. Headers hit bad, steering, radiator fitment, fan,etc. Try if you want, post pics too. Good luck. Sent from my Alcatel9007T using Tapatalk

    85 B2 low acceleration

    If it's like mine was,2.8. Check if all the vacuum lines are in a wire loom. The ones coming from the passenger side. When I did my Duraspark converion those were melted and had holes in them. Could'nt tel because they were hidden in the covers. Hope that helps a little.
