As I'm getting ready to put my heads back on my 2.8 v6, I saw a tip on this forum that advises drilling additional holes in the heads, using the gasket as a guide, between the cylinders where the exhaust valves are next-door neighbors. One of my heads had been to the machine shop for a burned exhaust valve, so I was naturally interested in this...
So, has anybody here tried this? If so, how did it work? Is there too big a hole, too small, a Goldilocks size? I'm going to be trying the Duraspark/Holley carb conversion in the near future, and the fuel injection swap a little further down the road; a reliable foundation to build on would be awesome. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance - Chris
