My 87 B2 recently died while driving. There were no warning signs that I know of, although it's always gotten bad gas mileage, maybe 11 mpg or so. There is battery voltage at the ignition coil connection with ignition on but no spark at the center coil wire as far as I can tell. No signs of life when starting fluid sprayed into the throttle body. No check engine light at all so I haven't been able to read the codes with the engine light flashes. I did replace the original coil as I thought it was the problem, since it did have voltage at the connections. I'm now thinking it's the computer. Would a bad computer stop all spark from the coil?
