Hi group
hoping someone can help me figure this out.
Recently started cutting out, dies. Wait a bit will start right back up...repeat.
Unnerving cause never know if it is going to start back up or leave me in a bind so stopped driving until I can get it figured out.

I had an 86 ranger once that ford sent a recall for some sensor that would cause the same symtom. cant remember what but did have troublewith the ranger similarly. always on a hot day.

Before the bronco started actually dying going down the road, there were times I could feel like a hesitation or occasional power loss that would clear after a few seconds then drive normal.

Any thoughts? catalytic converter? how to test?
thanks
Rose

Have you checked the TFI module on the distributor ? When it gets too hot it will fail, and after it cools down some it will work again. It is best to relocate the TFI module off of the distributor.
There are threads with good information on the TFI module.
If it has been relocated already it would be a good idea to test it.
