I picked up a 1990 (11/89) build XLT 2WD. This BII actually has an A4LD without the dummy case. The engine and trans were rebuilt by the last guy. I have not really looked at it yet but would I have to replace the trans with one from a 4x4 or can the 2wd A4LD be modified to accept the T-Case? I would hate to burn a rebuilt trans?
With all the Pick your junk places here in California I figure it should be cheap to get the rest of the parts. I originally bought the BII as a get around town vehicle but after seeing some of the stuff here I figure I would turn it into a project vehicle.
