302 swap help

I have a 1984 bronco II with the 2.8. I am building a trail rig and want to put a 302 in it with the lease amout of modification on the body. I want an automatic transmission. Please give me an idea of what is my best opinions to do this. Thanks

86 back 302 has carb and wil be easiest and least amt of aftermarket parts. C4 or c5 auto trans.

What about transfer case?

With auto. Most ppl buy the aa adapter and use 1350 transfer case. But if ur goin to do serious mudding or crawling. U may want to consider using more like np 205 or 208.bw1354,1356,4406.best bet is find a f150 4x4 with auto trans. Take everything. Trans transfer case and linkage for transfer case. U can type in search on google ford f150 transfer cases and itl have sights to show pics and gear ratios for each case. Which one u want is up to u. And how much mny u got is the other thing. I plan on runnin manual trans. In middle of my build now. Guys if im wrng with any info pls chime in and correct me.

Add 3 in body lift and the most modification ive had to do is bend the seam flat in the trans tunnel right at firewall and notch heater box. I had to nock in my firewall in one spot for motor to sit back farther. And i cut out the exhaust shield for now. Im running 33s with 4 in bds suspension lift with my 3 in body. Ul have to extend steering shaft and gas fill line. And emergency brake. I pulled steering line off 90 model explorer. It u joint on top and rag joint on bottom. With slip style yoke built in.

I did see bronco 11 with same setup so u may have slip yoke style. If u do itl allow u to do body lift
