hey there,
new here, got a 84 bronco with 85 engine in it.Catalitic converter is cut out,new fuel filter,I just rebuilt the carb to take care of an idle problem, installed a new TPS .
Now it idles great but wants to bog down and die if I accelerate too fast, wondering if anybody has any idea what that could be. Generally happens at traffic stop,as the car beginns to accelerate it bogs down .
If I gently press down on the pedal it does alright.Once over 20mph no issue at all, heeeeeeeeeeelpTHX

Sounds like you have an issue with the carb......possible low fuel volume, or the accelerator pump is defective.

Sounds like it a carb issue to me. Maybe when you rebuilt it you didn't get everything cleaned fully. I haven't rebuilt my 2brl yet but will be this weekend, I have the same issue. Experience in the motorcycle world tells me I have transfer ports clogged up.
