Just got this on the road yesterday after doing brakes, 4x4 doesnt engage. Put it up on jack stands to confirm. Manual hubs are locked in and moving the 4x4 shift lever to all positions has no effect. Looking for assistance.

Leave the vehicle on jack stands. With the transfer case in 2WD, and the hubs locked in, spin the left side tire and watch the drive shaft on that side that goes into the front differential. Does that shaft spin when you spin the tire? Do the same on the other side, does that shaft spin when you spin the tire? If not you have a problem with your hub, if they do spin, you have a problem with the differential, front drive shaft, or transfer case.
