when capping of the egr valve and the manifold bung, also the egr pressure solenoid behind the throttle linkage and the solenoid on the pass. side with the xmas color vac lines. i also put in an EEC from an 88 standard manual trany and TC. and i'm having problems starting it and also keeping it running it sounds like the timing or the wires are off but they all check out, so am i missing something or replace something. i set the timing with the spout not plugged in, still sounds like a vacuum leek i can't see, or timing. if anyone has done the egr delete with their 2.9l 86 or 87 and things are working good could you respond to this thread. or should i put the egr back to work and use my old EEC thank you :icon_surprised:
