Hi
My son and I bought Gpas 88 B2 with 75k miles on it to get running and have fun with her on the farm
The Alternator tab broken off and the 2 plastic connectors were also bad. So I ordered a Alternator and tried to order new wire harness for the alternator as well
But, the wires out of coil pack is only 3 total. and then it splits into 5 wires, connecting into the alternator.
First question is why? Second is, was that factory, because I cannot find replacement. I was looking for part numbers to just swap out alternator an full wires but its not that easy. Do I just direct wire the 3 from coil pack to a new alternator? The one I took out had regulator built on to the alternator...
