88 No Spark

If you replaced the distributor with a known good one that had a different TFI module, I'd say that you've ruled out the actual TFI module being the cause.

Are you getting any power to the coil, and any spark from the coil to the distributor?

no there is no spark geting to the coil iv checked all the wires and the resisters its killing me any help would be awsome

Check for 12V Positive at the coil.

The ignition triggers the coil by switching the ground on and off.

"spark" doesnt go TO the coil it comes FROM the coil.

First determine if you have 12V pos at the coil.

We'll work the problem from there.
