Does anyone out there know where to find a manual explorer transmission? If they do not exist, or are to hard to come by, what other manual trans will work??

I have a manual transmission from a 93 Explorer. Some standard rangers used the M5OD-R1 as well.

Pulled mine out of a Ranger at the pick n pull. At the same time there was a Mazda with the same transmission.

I've heard of the 2.9 transmissions holding up as long as you aren't too hard on the truck.
