I've run 235 75 15s on 15 x 8 rims on my 88 no problem and ran 30 x10.5 x15s on my stock 1990 B2 same rims with no issue.

Now I have a stock 87 B2 and am thinking of running 255 70 15s off-road tread on 15x8 wheels for that wider stance has anyone run this combo ??

Thanks

Wonder if you'd have some rubbing issues with the 255 size tire? You don't have any rubbing issues with your 235's right? I've been told the 235/75R15's are the largest you can go without a lift for rubbing issues, but I'm not for certain as I still have the 205/75R15 size tires on my 88 B2 but due to lack of tire options for all terrain tires for better winter traction I'm also looking to change tire sizes but nothing too drastic and think the 235's would be plenty for my regular driving. The 255's I'd think would give some rubbing trouble.

I'm running 235/75/15's and there's little rubbing maybe because my wheels have a negative offset. In the future, my plan is to lift my rig and then add some 33 inch tires and possibly put a D35.
