So I've given up on the auto hub bearing locking adjustment spindle nut thing and have already ordered a mile marker conversion kit (I don't do off-road very often with it) with an Evan Fischer manual hub set. The hub won't be in until after the new spindle lock nut assembly shows up; can I use the auto hub on top of the manual guts? Will this either put me into full-time hub engagement or preclude me from using my 4wd? Either way I'm not too concerned unless it will break something further.
On that note - if anybody is looking for a set of working auto hubs with guts (minus one "bearing adjustment nut) PM me. I know these aren't popular, but if somebody wants them to complete a package then we can work something out.
I ordered MM# 95-27988 (lock nut conversion kit) but I don't have a part for the hub
