I'm getting tired of tolerating all the bumpsteer i'm having in my bronco, so i was looking into alternatives to the stock steering linkage. I had been thinking about doing the super runner set up until I seen the stone crusher style set up. I dont care for the heim joints though and have not been able to find any contact info, while doing research I came across this http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/YLINK.html Im thinking of using it backwards from its intended purpose similar to the way the stone crusher set up works. Does any one see a reason why this wouldn't work?

That's not what comes to mind when I hear cheap.

Bobby Walter used xj steering junk. The zj is the same only twice the diameter. So stronger. He said it worked fine. If I could find his "build thread" I would link it. Maybe hell chime in.

It's still cheaper than the Superlift kit.

I'm not convinced the Stonecrusher style setups are any better than the stock junk other than it saving a lot of wear & tear on you tires. Though I've yet to actually drive something with the Stonecrusher setup, there's been a good number of reports floating around of people still experiencing bumpsteer (something i don't notice with my K-link (Superlift) setup that has the centerlink repositioned where it belongs).
