Hi All,
[ 1990 Ford Bronco II , 2.9L V6 Automatic, 4X4 ]
have a coolant leak coming from behind the crankshaft pulley (where shaft goes into engine.)... slow drip when parked.. Lose about a gal. / day.
There are NO oil leaks !
QUESTION(s):
1) Front crankshaft seal gone bad ???
2) Replacement total cost [parts & labor] for front seal ??? (part is ~ $ 22 )
3) other cause ????

Need help ASAP . my daily driver.
ALL answers appreciated.

There is no coolant at the crank seal... just oil.

My guess is it's coming from higher up... like water pump... thermostat housing..
Timing cover.
