This part is located in front of oil pan and bolts into the side of the motor. It is brass in color and has a wire hanging from bottom. Wire is insulated but I do not know it's final location. Oil drips from this part (brass color) and one that is similar in color just above it.

When I put my hand up in there, water was dripping from the insulated wire. It has been raining recently, but ???

Looks like lots of fluid (oil or PS Fluid) on the steering unit that is located just to the side of this part.

should these brass parts be leaking or maybe the oil is from above????

Not gunna pay for photobucket so sorry no pics.

Any help appreciated.

Most likely the oil pressure sensor. No oil shouldn't be dripping out of it LOL. Its either lose, worn out, or the o-ring or seal is worn out on it causing the leak. However, if that's the only leak you have be very happy, mine leaks oil all over the place...typical Ford 2.xL apparently LOL.

Thanks for not kicking me outta the forum for such a lame post. I tried to upload from photobucket but they want $ then my laptop gave me issues so I couldnt repost.

Trying tapatalk now.

Would the O=rings be located where the units screw into the block. Those locations are dry.

Thanks for the gentle replies.
