Does anyone know of a rear drum to disc conversion kit? Looking for simple bolt on; no machining.

A later year of 8.8 rear end with discs would be the easiest......

What models would have an 8.8 rear end? Ranger and Bronco II 1990?

I read here that '96-01 Explorer has an 8.8. Off to Pick a Part I go!

Any explorer 91? to 96 has an 8.8 disc rear. They are about 1 1/2" total, 3/4" per side wider, not a huge deal.

Make sure the rear end ratio is the same if your truck is 4wd. Sounds simple but easy to overlook.

Do I need to make any adjustments to the drive shaft and spring/shock mounts, or is it a direct bolt in ?
