My dad and I are trying to fix my dad's friend's 84 bronco ii. It was having starting issues so they replaced the starter, but the starter just wasn't lining up with the ring gear, the backing plate between the engine and transmission is broken around the starter. We are wanting to replace it with a new (or used) backing plate but we're not having any luck finding one. Does anyone know where I can find one, or if any other vehicle have one that will match up?
