So what I did was to put 98 4.0 from an explorer into my 84B2. Yes just about the entire thing. On and off it runs ok but now I am getting all the possible transmission error codes. In kept the manual transmission but the CPU from explorer was automatic. Could it be in limp mode? Runs rich,sputters and hesitates bad.
I also struggle with the purge solenoid solenoid and valve errors. What is a cause of problem that I am passing over.
I have either tested or replaced every emission part on vehicle,fuel pressure good, fuel regulator good, has spark and great compression. No vacuum leaks.

yes I know I picked the two worst to combine into one vehicle. I accept that error
