Looking for any help here… key and steering were completely locked, would not move. Drilled out the old cylinder and got it turn over and start with a screwdriver. Replaced cylinder, now easily unlocks the steering wheel and will turn on everything in accessory mode, but turning past that it does nothing, will not attempt to start. ????

Been some time since I've been that deep in a steering column. That said... there is a mechanical movement between lock cylinder and ignition switch. Sounds like something is broken... misaligned... disconnected... etc.

A service manual would be a huge help. I would share but my CD shop manual got erased somehow.

Hopefully someone else will chine in...

We’ve now replaced the ignition switch as well, and made sure the switch actuator rod was good. Still nothing! Any thoughts from anyone?
