My 87 bii has no instrument lights and the fuel and temp gauge don't work. My headlight switch went bad and was replaced. Now my headlights work but still no instrument lights and gauges. I have power to the black w/orange wire at the headlight switch. Where do I go from here?

Kinda sounds like a ground issue.

G200 is under the dash to the left of the steering column. Ensure it's clean and tight for your first move.

I would guess the multi prong connector to the instrument panel is the problem. I replaced my head light switch to get my dash lights working and after I had it back together the fuel and temp gauges were not working at all. Tore it apart again, disconnected the muti connector and some of the tabs on the back of the instrument cluster were doubled over. Straightened them out and everything is fine now.
