Intermittent relay fail or bad connection?

Started 1989 Bronco 2 during hunting trip and noticed the charge gage not indicating, turn signals non op and no wipers. Maybe more.

Got into some rough rock climbing and killed it. When re-started all things above began working.

Relay intermittent or maybe a bad connection?

Any help out there?

Could be a bad relay, could be corroded wires, lose connections, who knows you are dealing with an almost 30 year old vehicle, things start malfunctioning and start working randomly, it runs and drives keep driving it till it blows up LOL.

On my Ranger I had something like that. It was a bad key switch. The weight of the keys would pull it just slightly off off the detent and some things kept working and others didn't.
The engine would stay running when it happened.

I had a similar problem on 88 b2. I found a broken ground wire that ran from the -battery terminal to the radiator support. Put in a new wire and connectors and haven’t had a problem since
