Hey, all new user here I am getting a 1990 b2 xlt for a first driver car and I want to use it as a fun driver that I can take to school every day but also drive around in a field with it.

My credo
Do what you can with what you have where you are
Standard or Auto for a transmission? If it is the Auto transmission than the L in the A4LD stands for light duty.

These little Broncos really aren't tow vehicles. Sure you can move a small trailer with a smallish load... but always remember you have to get the load to stop too.

Your 90 should have a Dana 35 up front... but there is a chance it doesnt... depending on early or late build. I would suggest buying an engineered kit... cheaper is never better. Skyjacker and James Duff come to mind...

The sister site to this site is The Ranger Station. Both this site and the sister have a tech library. You can spend a couple days reading both places and learn how to identify your front end... rear end... seat swaps... lift kits... clutch upgrades... etc...

Check out that stuff... it will certainly help you get going.
