at least a 3/8" side wall3/8" wall tube? Thats a bit overkill if you ask me. 1/4" wall is the standard for any good cage/ rollbar
at least a 3/8" side wallI decided not to use the light bar, it got in the way of the rear seats. Was going to have a metal shop bend me some hoops so I could weld something together, but it was going to be pretty expensive. It ended up not being too much more to have 4x4 Specialties of Concord, Ca put together an 8 point cage! It goes in monday, should have it back by wednesday!:icon_welder:3/8" wall tube? Looks pretty sweet, the cage looks like it could use some triangulation though. You should also get rid of that electric 4x4 :icon_thumby:
I think it should do the job... the guy who built it has been building them like that for over 30 years.Looks pretty sweet, the cage looks like it could use some triangulation though. You should also get rid of that electric 4x4
Naw I just drive faster when its raining!looks sick,,, i bet it sucks when it rains, huh... hehe
Eventually.. but it's almost summer, and I just spent the last of my project funds on the cage.Planning on a soft top of some sort? Looks good!
I don't see why not, it's just like having a wrangler or 4runner. I've had a few cops get behind me, but have yet to be pulled over. One was actually taking pictures with his camera phone! You know what I've been wondering....
Are chop tops street legal?
Hmm.. I'm gonna have to check the legality in NYI don't see why not, it's just like having a wrangler or 4runner. I've had a few cops get behind me, but have yet to be pulled over. One was actually taking pictures with his camera phone!
