Hello,
I just recently purchased an 89 Bronco II with manual hubs and have done some reading regarding the different hub upgrades that are out there including using hubs from a Jeep Wrangler. I read the FAQ and did some searches but could not find the answer to my question? Perhaps I am wording the search incorrectly?
Back in the late 80's I did own an Eddie Bauer Bronco II with automatic hubs and they never worked correctly. After X-teen trips to the Ford dealer and their inability to fix the problem I traded it for a Ranger Truck with manual hubs.
Fast forward to the present and having owned a Nissan X-Terra (2001 model) and a Jeep Wrangler (2011 model, still have it), both of which have automatic locking hubs I am curious as to why a reliable automatic locking hub retrofit is not an option for the Bronco II?
Again, sorry if this topic has long ago been covered.
