Still 7.5 axle in the rear and Dana 28 in the front! Thought about changing them but funds ain’t there right now! In the future maybe! I am gonna switch my differential in the rear later to a limited slip running open right now! She does ok with it! Positive always helps lol

Just A/T’s nothing special! Got a set of 31” super swampers I run off-road. Do great in mud, not so awesome in the sand! Which where I lived NC coast, nothing but sand! Moved from middle of NC down here! Back home never a problem finding a mud hole lol!

Been to Moyock several times, beautiful country!
I'm here in the Ozarks. 15 minutes from Bull Shoals Lake, Norfork Lake, or White River, so tons of dirt roads and mud holes. Once floated an 86 Trooper 2 across a 30 foot stretch of lake when our trail was under water, it didn't look that deep! I can't get my rear latch to unlock, passenger side fine, my side only upper jaw will release....jeesh

If so pull your hatch cover and you can get to it!
Left side, the lowest "jaw" will NOT open, top does, so I managed to push the whole door down til it opened. Okay, I kicked down from the inside😁
Bottom jaw still not open completely. Got the latch assembly off, can't reach the damn plastic retainer that connects it to the rod...this is a pain in the ass. And yes, of course, see more rust...not bad but dammit.

Soak it down in some penetrating will help. Can’t remember for sure thinking there’s only 3 or four bolts holding the assembly in the hatch!

They come out with a dummy transfer case, so biggest thing is switching out the TTB and front steering components! Good thing for him I have everything to switch it sitting in my backyard lol! I think it would be a fun project to do! Gonna post pics when we do!
