The Ranger has the exact same front sheet metal. Look for a Ranger grill guard.

83 - 88 would probably work too. I can't think of any drastic profile change.

The bumpers and mounts are completely different. You need a grill guard from a 1989-1992 Ford Ranger to fit your 1989 Bronco II.
