So only my bright headlights work, no dims. Haven't tried new bulbs because they both quit working at the same time. Also after about an hour of straight driving with my brights on my lights start flashing on and off until I turn ny lights off for about 30 seconds then the brights are fine again for another hour. Anyone have any clue what this may be?

My 93 had headlight issues and it was the turn signal stalk, Autozone carrys them thankfully.
Test relays fuses and switches. They also have the schematic online for most ranger years Think have the same for bronco explorer

The flashing on and off sounds like a circuit breaker (used instead of a fuse on stuff like head lights)
Bad contacts ,intermittent short ,gremlins

its probably a headlight switch... there's a thing in the library about upgrading with the wiring using a relay and larger wiring... probably a good idea while you're there...
