I’ve come across an interesting problem in my 88 B2... There’s a significant amount of toggle in my steering wheel, and when it’s toggled in one direction, the wipers AND auto 4WD stop working. When I push it back in the other direction, it all starts working again.
I’m convinced it’s something simple I’m missing, but after digging through the Haynes manual and tightening everything I can on the steering column, I’m stuck. Next step is ripping everything apart and inspecting every component piece by piece. I’ve looked at electrical diagrams to try to see how it’s all connected, but I’m not very good at reading those.
Apologies if this is in the wrong thread... Wasn’t sure exactly where this one fit. Any and all help greatly appreciated!
