Dang, its been awhile...
Anyway, took it on the Ranger Station Adventure at Land Between the Lakes last fall:
We initially had the GMRS mounted on the bottom of the dash with copious amounts of velcro. It worked, as long as it worked. The radio would fall for little to no reason at random which is less than ideal while driving. The mic cord was also annoying. So I got her a overhead molle panel for our anniversary.
Then I had room for the GMRS plus other nicetiys like my Garmin. It is also an awesome basket of sorts for sunglasses and other small things above it. I went ahead and ran wiring to add actual functional dome lights since the factory one is utterly pathetic but I haven't added lights yet.
Then we were off to the Texas Off-Roadeo.
And for Christmas she got a tailgate table.
Which holds all the wrenching necessitates.
Plans for this year is to go to the MOORE expo in Missouri here in a couple months and then back to LBL for more fun next fall.
