I have a 86 Bronco 2 with a 2.9 V6 automatic transmission. I just had the transmission rebuilt as well as the motor. After the engine warms up when I put into park, it dies. I tried going fast and slow and it dies. It even died while going past neutral real slow. I did replace the switch on the side of the transmission. Nothing helped. Anyone have this and found the problem? Thanks

Neutral safety switch only effects the start circuit. Not that I have any constructive input , I only warn that you’re on the wrong trail if you are looking at the neutral safety switch.
So this stall happens going into park? So does this mean it will not run in park after warm up?

After it warms up, yes it dies as soon as it goes into park and or neutral. It does start up though right away.

I'm going to agree that the neutral safety switch will only effect starting. Once it's running it's running as far as the NSS is concerned.

Is it a column shift or floor shift? If column shift it might be affecting the ignition switch... maybe a loose connection...

Does it start in both Park and Neutral?

But the minute you put it back into Park or try to slide through Neutral it stalls?

It does start in park. I have never tried to start in neutral. But yes, as I slide through neutral it will die. For sure when it goes into park.

Very odd...

I would connect a test light to the coil positive... then watch the light as you shift it into Park or slide it through Neutral. If the light goes out... it's somehow killing the ignition. If it stays ON... we need to look elsewhere.
