Picked up a set of 2002 (like new) explorer seats from the junkyard today - swapped the rails and they bolted right in. The passenger seat is a direct swap but the driver seat requires tapping a set of already-placed holes. Now the only problem is that my B2 seats had a lumbar bag and I’m swapping the lower ‘86 B2 frame into the 02 ex seat so the controls for the bag are already cleared. I’m not that motivated, so the pretty side covers for the seats will have to wait until I have time to dress them up. Just in case anybody is wondering; 02 seats are an easy swap.
