If it wasn't for the last minute, nothing would get done!!
why or what makes my tach read way out of range to high at 55 mpr its at 6000 rpm can someone answer me on this thanks

It's common for the board that runs the tachometer to overheat and cause erratic readings. It's on the back of the instrument cluster assembly. Could also be the tach signal wire on your ignition coil. If it reads fine until you get over 55mph, I'd almost say it's the tach signal wire not liking the vibrations at those speeds, but I'm no expert.
