waiting for warmer weather. bitch keeping shop warm. . put the rear blocks in wrong. talked to rough country. there directions are wrong. took front apart today hope to be done buy sunday? bitch getting 30 year old bolts out. radius arm nuts are tight as hell. only broke one lower shock bolt so far. broke radius arm stud grind and weld to fix. 3 days into lift. lift is in. took three times what I thought it would.

yes, heard about there pas side drop plate but for the price I'll live with it

You'll probably be fine. I ran a Trailmaster 4-inch lift on my '83 Ranger that used the drop plate. It can get close to the differential, especially with the larger Dana 35. As long as you don't try to wheel it really hard, you'll be ok. Of course, a properly placed bump stop will keep it from making contact with the differential.

don't plan on getting air born. but you never know. bump stops don't look good have to replace. kit comes with bump drops. start tinkering tomorrow cleaning things up getting ready to come apart.

lift is done. rear driveshaft to short. junkyard explorer shaft 40 bucks. 48 in long need 33 in. rear bolt pattern wrong. new yoke 3 1/2 in center 75 bucks. new 1330 u-joints15 bucks. next time buy new bronco graveyard shaft. now shaft hits muffler. does it ever end? dont know year of new shaft but 1330 joints is a plus.

No double cardan? Angles seem extreme. It will be interesting to see if they last for you. Good luck.

that pic was just mock up with old yoke. looks better with new parts and 2 degree wedges.1470414705 weld looks like shit but I think it will hold?

I have a article on driveshafts lost on another computer. If memory serves, in an ideal world, the centerline of the transmission and pinion shaft should be parallel, UNLESS a double cardan [2 u-joints] is used. Also max angle is somewhere around 2.5 to 3 degrees for reliable service and double that if you're willing to keep an eye on them.
