Hey guys, I'm driving myself crazy here. I've got an 89 bronco ii that won't start when I turn the key. All the electrical stuff comes on (stereo, lights, ECT.) It will start though when I turn the key to the on position and stick a screwdriver in the starter solenoid. I've replaced the solenoid, clutch interlock switch, and the ignition cylinder switch. Anyone have any ideas on my next step? One day I drove it to work for a few hours came back out and it wouldn't start. There were no symptoms leading up to this.
Sorry if there are already threads on this, I haven't had any luck finding the information I need anywhere. I guess I have to be baby fed step by step

Did you replace the ignition switch, or the key switch?

I mean I didn't check every one of them cause I heard that's bad to do, but I checked everything that sounded like it had anything to do with ignition or clutch or anything like that

I'm the steering column under the plasic.

It has the the contacts in it. Key switch does nothing but moves the rod that slides across the connectors.. it can effect anything that the key puts power too
