Nice truck , very capable. I really like the fact that you're running 38" Swampers on a basically stock D44. I was thinking of swapping in a D60 but I can do a D44 much, much cheaper. I might pony up for some RCV CV axles though.

None of the Explorer's / Mountianeers with the 5.0 had a TTB front end. They are all torsion bar IFS.

Never had the Frankentranny behind the blown 4.0 but I have no doubt that it would do just fine.

I've built my own Frankentranny. Not that hard to do. Worked great. I now have a real 5R55E instead.

You have fuel in the cylinders. Double check that there is no spark. Check PCM power relay then check power and grounds at PCM connector.

No, no, no. I have yet to see a car-on-truck frame hybrid that looks good.
