I understand what you are saying I have the 5.0 already built,and have been looking a donor one hadn't but able to find one.So I'm decide to find what I need and do it this way.Can it be a adapter plate bought ,or made to bolt the A4Ld trans/behind the 5.0 engine and uses the same transfer case.

I have a 93 Ford Explorer 4x4 -I thinking about putting a 5.0 engine in it this summer-but want to keep it 4 wheel drive-what will I need.

Shift kit in ----if I get time this week end going to put it back in and see what happens.

Just rebuilt the transmission-----got the Valve body took apart-putting a shift kit in it-- SK A4LD Junior -Shift kit---having trouble finding the drill bits to drill the valve body plate out----need .063--.073 to.076--.055--..110 to .125-.080 to .089----where can I find them----NEED YOUR HELP...

I have a 93 Explorer just rebuilt the a4ld trans----Trying to find a valve body for it now-Let you no how it comes out--

The key to a great rebuild,is put all new seals.o ring, clutches,steel plates,and be shore you have got it clean as a pin.Go all the way --Don't never half rebuild a automatic tran or you asking for trouble.:yahoo:
