^^ one addition: i'd use distilled water to keep out all the contaminants in tap water or bottled spring water or the 50/50 pre-mixed antifreeze without any water. just my $.02. btw, i'm thinking head gasket as well and, hopefully, nothing more. good luck!

just ask for a carb for a 1974-76 mustang or capri with a 2.8 v6. that would be your carb. then just double check the 1.08 venturi it needs. good luck.

x2 what Big Jim said. and as long as you're getting the gears put in , it would be the best time to add a locker, at least in the rear axle. should be able to buy all new, including the locker, and get it installed for under $2k easily. might find what you need in good used condition for way...

better off putting in new gears with that tall a tire. just my $.02.

you might want to try using the junkyard dizzy you got and see what that does. just a thought.
