I've literally looked this up a thousand times but I can't find anything about the rear speakers, I modified some 6x8 kickers but they didn't fit either, now I just bought some adapters and they didn't fit, now I feel like a dumbass. Plz help.

the problem that I had when putting some 6x9's in the back of my 90 was that the hole wasn't large enough for the back of the speaker, if you were to do it right, I would build a little box that would go into the space that the old speakers came out of and mount the new ones right to that rather than the old plastic. if you just want to get them in, I would trace out the speakers and use a jigsaw to cut the hole larger. if your problem is the wires I would just go to your local hardware or car parts store and just buy some butt-connectors and use those instead of the adapter plug

Oldish thread but for future reference check Crutchfield for fitment.
i went this route years ago, got everything I needed from them and nothing I didn't need.
They also send detailed instructions.
