I need help wiring my center console. There’s two wires coming out of the floor but I can’t find any others, my bronco didn’t originally have a center console. Is there wires I can hook the lights up to? I need help

I think the light wire is for the bezel around the automatic transmission (option). The center console has an additional bundle of wires. It's is a small harness unto its own and plugs in under the ashtray. I can post a picture if you need.

Yes please. And my bronco is a standard. My ashtray light doesn’t work as well, and I have replaced the bulb.

I have a couple of each manual and automatic setups. The two wire plug would be for the automatic bezel.

What year is your rig? The one I'm showing you is a 85 and the console is factory. Your looks a bit different. I'm unsure what years offered the console with the display for lights washer fluid and fuel.

It’s a 1988 and it didn’t come with a center console.

I went to therangerstation.com to see if the tech section had any info. It says the display console was available in the BII 84 thru 90. This is the one you have yes

I don't see any schematics for it. Some of the guys over there have loads of info and may be able to help you more than me.

Looking in my Haynes manual is see the headlight circuit is different for vehicles with lamp out indicator. There we are in-line resistor wires that dont exhist on vehicles without. You may need the harness from the doner rig.
