just make one! 20 minutes (auto parts heavy gasket material) made more than one my self. i bought a set of gasket punches at hb freight there not much in price. use the transfer case for gasket pattern.

yes it is,and it does have a ball bearing in it,inertia switch is safety device to turn fuel off in a roll over situation ! if you test it for continuity it should test as a closed circuit when upright

when you turn your ignition switch to on you should hear your high pressure pump go on for a few seconds if you dont it could be inertia switch or high pressure pump located on frame near driver side door under vehicle. also there is a low pressure pump in the fuel tank that can cause fuel...

i have a 1991 explorer the radius arm bushings are toast,when i hit the brakes the front end pops, ive looked through my books to find out the easiest way to replace looks the easiest is removing the crossover there held in. any ideas would be appreciated thanks

it could be anywhere from clutch to rear end jack your rear end up and start it put it in gear check the drive shaft if its turning its your rear end if its not its probably your trans or maybe transfer case? your question on drive shaft that is junk they've always been a problem.

91 4.0 may bolt up to 2.9 crossover but its a little smaller in id" thus could cause to much back pressure on engine. i had to use a 4.0 94 exp has two sensors good luck

you should use the exhaust crossover that came with that year 4.0,early 4.0's had one sensor and later had two.

had the same issue with my 4.0 installed in my 1988,befor you go any further i suggest you have the heads maged for cracks and checked for warpage. these heads are notorious for cracking and warping when over heated.

my 1988 with a a4ld to m5od is the same unit it should bolt up,you are talking about the transfer case shifter right?
