    I've always used Chilton. Just seem to like it better, could be that I remember when I was a kid, my Dad using the big hard cover chilton manual.

    Yeah, I should have mentioned that in my other post. That weight(3300 lbs) is totally empty and about 1/4 tank of gas.

    As someone has already suggested in another of your threads, do the duraspark conversion if possible. It allows you to get rid of the POS feedback carb, computer, the wiring that comes thru the passenger side firewall,all the emissions crap and all but 4 vacuum lines(dizzy, PCV, brake booster...

    Only one small wire goes to the solenoid. It gets connected to the terminal marked with a"S". It is the wire from the ignition switch to actuate the solenoid. The charging system wires hook up to the battery side of the solenoid. I can get a pic if you need it.

    I know this is a dumb question, but bear with me. I have a '84 Bll w/ 31x10.50s and want a little more clearance for my tires. I was thinking of putting 2" spacers under the front coil springs and 2" blocks under the rear leaf springs. My question is will this work or will I just be wasting...
