I don't even know why he bothered asking "manual/auto". There isn't a transmission that was installed in the B2 that WOULD bolt up to a SBF.
Besides, The trans could barely hold up with a V6 in front of it. A 289 would break it in minutes.

The M5OD is a POS transmission...I have rebuilt them, over and over again. They can't hold the torque that even a sllightly modded 4.0L had....
Before anyone tries to argue THAT point with me, I would like to know if you have ever rebuilt a M5OD, and/or a T5..

The 4.0L has VERY FEW transmission options. And to be honest, there is only 1 'good' option of them. And that is the `05+ V6 Mustang T-5...
