Our '84 (2.8L Cologne V6) has been in the shop for months. It needed a few small things which are all done, but the stupid carb is giving them fits. They sent it out to be rebuilt, but now it can sit and run at idle for a long time but when you give it some gas it stumbles or dies. If there is a good, reliable aftermarket carb widely accepted as working well on these, what is it? I love the idea of fuel injection but we don't want to put another Grand or two into it if we don't need to.....
