The first pic is a fresh wash pic. The body was pretty beat up with rust and metal damage, bondo and pin holes.. I'm posting for some guidance on the Bronco ii build. I want to make sure i'm doing everything correctly.
Currently i have a 302 that i'm going to get bored to a 347. That'll be going in and replacing the OEM 2.9L V6. I'll also be swapping out the front diff for a Dana 35 and the rear diff for an 8.8 Ford(i have a remanned u-joint dirive shaft, will i need a different one?). I've got that sag going so i was looking for a donor explorer to steal from (can i just buy new leaf springs for a gen 1 explorer?). I also intend to do a 3' James Duff lift. The lift comes with an added leaf for the rear. Does anyone know if this will fit the gen 1 explorer srings?
Also before i commit to the 3' lift. Any input on how it affects the overall ride of the vehicle? I live in Southern California and it see's fwy time, im not trying to hear the road my entire drive. I do plan on putting both dynomat and jute fiber down.
Thanks guys!
