i am not sure that i posted this in the right place, but i have a 88 ford ranger 2wd automatic and a 89 bronco 2 4x4 5- speed. is it possible to convert all the 4x4 parts to the ranger to make it a 4x4 but i want the 5- speed in the ranger, i am sure it can be done but what all will i be looking at in doing this?

i used a 4x4 94 explorer sport and converted a 94 ranger to 4wd with it. I took the brackets that mount to the crossmember and swaped them over. That and using the radius arm brackets off of the 4wd is what you need to mount the dana 28.
