Stock 1987 Bronco 2 w/ electronic TC, both indicator lights stay on constantly, but its actually in 2wd. Heres what happened.
I put the bronco in 4low so it wouldnt roll anywhere while i jacked up the rear to remove the sway bar. i finish up and go to go for a test drive, it wont come out of 4low, thinking its the shift motor i tap on it a couple times (cleaned it twice now) and i still get nothing, I take the shift motor off clean it for the 3rd time and replace it,i get nothing. I then notice when i take the shift motor off that it is in 2wd. weird when it indicates that it is in 4low. I manually switch the TC to 4low and spin the shift motor to match it. turn the bronco on i can hear the shift motor go then stop, lights still indicate 4low, i then take the shift motor off and its back to 2wd so the shift motor works, but the TC controls dont..
Is there a sensor or fuse that may be f-ed up that I am missing??
Thanks!
