So I'm one step away for towin to a shop... My explorer decided to develop a short somewhere. It's eating the 60a maxi fuses under the hood for the ignition switch. I have tried a few things but not sure what to do now. anyone had this problem, no one I have talked to has heard of it, but read a few thing on the web that had me lead on then wanted a payment for advice (satisfaction guaranteed)"" so that didn't happen!!
(insert sob story here)

Someone must have a quick fix;)

Well, is it popping one fuse or multiple. Which ones exactly?

If it's only the one then I'm fairly sure that wire goes around the front of the engine bay. I wanna say it's in front of the radiator. Not sure about that though.

Either way. A wiring diagram following the wire(s) from whatever fuse(s) are popping should lead you to your problem.

Note: You might (unlikely) have to split a fairly long portion of the harness to find it...

Most of the time the problem shows up a tight spot in wiring or a connection.
